Our service operates Monday-Friday from any address in Manawatū District and selected areas in Rangitikei District to Feilding or Palmerston North, and back again. Advanced booking is essential. Our van has 11 passenger seats and a luggage trailer to transport mobility aids, personal items, and any purchases made in Feilding such as groceries.

We are a return-service and fares are priced to be as affordable as possible. If you only need transport one-way for some reason, your fare will be the same. This is to cover our administrative costs and the effective empty seat that we will be unable to provide to another customer.

Our service operates Monday-Friday from any address in Manawatū District, to Feilding or Palmerston North, and back again. Advanced booking is essential. Our van has 11 passenger seats and a luggage trailer to transport mobility aids, personal items, and any purchases made in Feilding such as groceries.

Our pick up area is within the zones marked on the map. Passengers may choose to travel to Feilding or Palmerston North on a single trip, but not both, for logistical reasons. If you live rurally, but outside the marked zones, please phone us as we may be able to accommodate you. 

Our route is calculated each day based on the bookings received, so travel time and arrival in Feilding/Palmerston North will vary for each trip. Pick-up times will vary but will be between 8-11 am. Return home will be between 2-5 pm. Your pick-up time will be confirmed by email or text the day before your travel.

The primary drop-off locations are the Manawatū Community Hub Library in Feilding, and The Square in Palmerston North. If you need to go to a specific location (such as a supermarket, the health centre, a pharmacy, or otherwise), this can be accommodated. Please note any specific locations you need to visit when you place your booking. If you have an appointment with a fixed time, we’ll do our best to accommodate this as well.

Please be aware that you’ll share your journey with other residents with various appointments and needs, which may impact your pick up and return times. It is our priority to ensure everyone’s needs are met on each trip. 

Please contact us with your booking request by 12pm the day before your date of travel at the latest. Next-day service can’t be guaranteed so we advise booking at least one week in advance to ensure availability. 

We take bookings on a first-in, first-served basis. If you have a fixed appointment time, please contact us as soon as your appointment is confirmed to ensure we’re able to accommodate your needs, and advise us of your appointment time and location in your booking request.

Our service coordinator will contact you to arrange payment and confirm your booking. If your date of travel can’t be accommodated for any reason our coordinator will arrange an alternative day.

Travelling for a health appointment? 

We do our best to prioritise health appointments, provided you book as soon as possible. Depending on other bookings and your needs, we may connect you with the St John Health shuttle. 

Payment is by bank deposit or cash on the day of travel. If you can’t pay with either of these methods for any reason, please make your booking over the phone and our coordinator will make arrangements with you.

Up to four people can travel from the same pick-up address and pay only one fare. Please include the number of passengers when booking.

We are not able to facilitate splitting the fare – please make payment at the time of booking and arrange for reimbursement from your group independently.

To amend an existing booking, please phone or email our service coordinator. Amendments can’t be guaranteed and will be based on availability. If your booking change can’t be amended, you will be able to transfer your booking to another day.

Regular trips

If you’d like to book a regular trip (e.g. every week on the same day, fortnightly, or once a month) please email or call our service coordinator. Regular trips must be managed manually, and an automated payment will be set up.

Group excursions

Our van can be booked for custom group excursions, outside our usual operating hours, by community groups and schools. Pricing will be based on the duration of the excursion and travel distance. Please contact us for a quote.
